Safe, kind and private

No woman walks alone. These rules keep every BoH community a place where women can speak freely.

Draft for the owner's review. Parts marked “to decide” need an answer, and a lawyer should check this page before launch.

The rules

  1. Be kind and respectful. No insults, bullying, hate, threats or harassment, in posts, comments or private messages.
  2. What is shared here stays here. Do not screenshot, copy or forward another member's post or story outside the community without her permission.
  3. Protect yourself and others. Never share passwords, PINs, ID numbers or anyone else's personal details. BoH will never ask for your password or EcoCash PIN.
  4. Sell only where selling belongs. Buying and selling happens in the Buy & Sell Network and the Marketplace. No pyramid schemes, chain messages or "pay first to reserve" offers anywhere.
  5. Stay on topic. Each community has its own purpose; keep posts to it.
  6. Share experience, not risky advice. For health, legal or money emergencies, please speak to a professional.
  7. Report what worries you. Use the report option on any post or comment. Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them.

How moderation works

  • Posts in a community are checked by a moderator before other members see them. Posts on your own feed appear straight away.
  • If a moderator rejects or removes something, you are told why, on your account page and by email.
  • Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, a restriction or a suspension. Each one comes with a reason.
  • If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the email or contact us, and an admin who was not involved will look again.
